Installation of White UPVC Fascias, Soffits, Barge-Boards, Cladding and Black PVC Guttering to a 1960′s Dormer Bungalow in Ashtead, Surrey.
This was a detached 4-bedroom 1980’s chalet bungalow which was originally built using UPVC roofline materials. The new owner of the house was not happy with the quality of the original work and asked us to completely replace the whole installation.

- Installation of 85 meters of white 9mm Swish Summit UPVC Fascia Board
- Installation of 85 meters of white 9mm Swish Summit UPVC soffit board.
- Installation of 85 meters of Polypipe deepflow black half-round PVC guttering
- Installation of 6 x 5.5 meter Polypipe PVC down pipes
- Installation of tongue and groove Swish Summit UPVC soffit board for deep porch.
Dormer
- Installation of 12 meters of tanalised timber fascia backing boards with over fascia vents.
- Installation of 12 meters of 9mm white Swish Summit UPVC Fascia Board
- Installation of 12 meters of 9mm white Swish Summit UPVC soffit board.
- Installation of 12 meters of Polypipe standard black half-round PVC guttering
- No downpipes (guttering drained to roof)
- Installation of 8 meters of 9mm white Swish Summit barge-board over dormer windows.
- Installation of 10 square meters of Swish 150mm white shiplap cladding.
Results
The interesting thing about this project was that (in our opinion) the look of the materials was still very good even though it was 35 years old. The owner was only unhappy with the workmanship and hence wanted it replacing. The update gave the house a welcome bright new look.
